Sasha Pants-Sandstone/Autumn

Sasha Pants Sandstone/Autumn are our special design celebrating 70s style fashion. They are handmade in stretch cotton twill with side panels that are an organic cotton corduroy. The print is our original design.  Sasha Pants Sandstone/Autumn are featuring two large pockets for all kids’ treasures. They are comfortable and a great addition to any kid wardrobe.

These were created with stretch cotton twill that is extra durable yet soft fabric. Purchased as a factory overstock. The side inserts are made using remnants of an organic cotton corduroy and our original autumn leaves textile design. Across those side panels we have added a large pocket, on both sides which are very practical and decorative. The pockets are at the knee height. On the right-side pocket, we have sewn our brand label. The pants have elasticized waistband which makes them very comfortable.

The fabrics are cottons which is natural material, so we always prewash them before cutting the pieces. Elastic that we use is 2-2.5 cm wide which makes it more comfortable than a thinner one. At the side of a waistband on the inside we leave a hole that is used to insert elastic. This can be used to pull elastic out and take it in or add a bit extra if needed. Also, elastic can be changed if preferred. To prevent elastic from turning and twisting we sew across it. The best place for this is at the back of the waistband where we sew a size label. At the pocket opening we put some interfacing fabric. That is ironed to stick it to a fabric, and it helps that pocket edge keep its shape. Interfacing fabric gives a form to a fabric.
